The 5th Dean’s Committee of ICAR, New Delhi has adopted a new syllabus of the agricultural education in India. It introduced “Protected Cultivation and Secondary Agriculture” subject in the VI semester of the BSc Hons
(Agriculture) degree curriculum. The text books on this subject are meant for giving the core knowledge to the students.
