About the Book
In order to understand the basic concepts and also to get a reasonably adequate account of principal types, an undergraduate zoology student needs a text which is not only well illustrated but also
has a clear, simple, and easily understandable language. ‘A Text Book of Invertebrate Zoology’ is an humble attempt in this direction. With their long teaching experience of nearly four decades, the
authors have tried to consider every detail from the students’ poin: of view before including it in the text. Although primarily meant for pass and honours B. Sc. students of Indian Universities, some portions of the
book would serve the purpose of postgraduate students as well. If this volume gets the desired response, this attempt would have served its purpose.
